Description
.032" thick AFM (Aluminum Foamette Material). OEM replacement reference 25700452.
Cometic's AFM gaskets have an aluminum core with a chemically blown, compounded nitrile synthetic thin foam-like rubber layer bonded to both sides. Temperature resistant to over 250°F (122°C). AFM rubber has a 85% recovery while maintaining strong torque retention. Re-torquing, gasket sealers or silicone beads are not required.
