Meet the Team

Alex

Owner

Mechanic, custom builder, parts advisor, designer, web designer, buyer, bookkeeper, marketing department, cleaner, barista and resident mad scientist. Alex wears every hat at Deathproof.

Everything you see here is the culmination of one man’s work, from shaping the business to obsessing over the finishing touches. A self-certified perfectionist, he believes the little details deserve just as much attention as the big parts, sometimes more.

The creative jobs are his favourite: taking a build from its first sketch to a finished motorcycle, turning ideas into something you can actually ride. Whether you’re planning a complete custom or finding the right parts for your needs, he’ll help you work out what fits and actually works.

Never short of ideas. Occasionally short of sleep.

Big Bikes, Small Dogs.

Valentino

Chief of Security

Our most vigilant team member, Valentino is always watching, always waiting, and keeping a close eye on who’s coming through the door. Once you’ve earned his trust, the serious security act disappears, he’ll roll over and expect the belly rubs he knows he deserves.

Always on duty. Easily bribed with affection.
Certified good boi.

Hercules

Hooman Resources

Hercules spends most of his time at work in his bed in the office, so we need to catch him doing some actual HR work before uploading PG photos

Hercules runs Hooman Resources from a bed in the office. His availability is limited, his naps are scheduled, and the doorbell is the only meeting reminder he pays attention to.

He’ll usually come out to see who’s arrived. Sometimes, though, he’ll take one look from the office doorway, make his assessment and disappear again. Please don’t take it personally. Or do. He’s gone back to sleep.

When he’s on the shop sofa, he’s much more open to visitors, particularly those offering fuss. Cuddles must be delivered with him cradled like a newborn against your chest. Once you’ve been trusted with that job, he’ll protect you like family and insist that all your attention belongs to him.

Mostly asleep. Occasionally judging. Very particular about cuddles.

Penelope

Operations

A permanent fixture at Deathproof, Penelope spends just as much time in the shop as Alex. As Head of Operations, she makes it her business to greet everyone who walks through the door. Usually by barking until they give her the fuss she’s clearly been missing for at least five minutes.

A top-tier cuddler and persistent attention-seeker, she won’t let you get far without saying hello. Find her toys and you’ll have a playmate for the rest of the day.

The sweetest little girl, getting to know everyone who visits and making sure nobody leaves without feeling like part of the family.

Runs on fuss. Takes payment in cuddles.

Harley

Head of Social

Yes, he’s real. We know he looks like a cartoon bear. That’s Harley, our Head of Social, and he fully expects you to stop what you’re doing and say hello.

He doesn’t lack confidence. He has too much of it. A force of nature, just in a fluffy package. If he feels he’s being overlooked, he’ll howl until the matter is resolved.

Playful, loving and professionally mischievous, he’s just as likely to run off with our tools as he is to demand a cuddle. Working on something important? Lovely. You can fuss him while you do it.

Equal parts affection and chaos, Harley keeps everyone entertained and firmly under his supervision.

Big diva energy. Tiny bear face. The sweetest little soul.
