You should measure the height of the piston groove in the piston itself. The 2 top grooves will be for compression rings, the lower groove will be for the oil ring. In most cases Hastings oil rings are of the low tension 3-piece flex vent type. Ring heights are listed for reference.

Tech tip: Piston oversizes.

For each oversize cylinder diameter will increase with .010" (0.254mm). The standard bore of the cylinder is listed for reference.

(Information provided by Hastings Manufacturing Company, Inc.).

Specifications

Unit

2CY

Fitment

84-99 Evo Big Twin; 88-03 XL Sportster 1200 (NU)

Part numbers

Supplier SKU

908666

Manufacturer part

2M6164040

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0975/8235/0680/files/908440k_f6ab75dc-9177-4bed-9e9c-1e6a49e41963.jpg?v=1791033422
